Elena Perez-Arda Lopez

Elena Pérez-Ardá López is the C-MAP (Contemporary and Modern Art Perspectives) Coordinator for the International Program at MoMA. In 2022 she was awarded a Fulbright Research Fellowship to work with The Museum at FIT where she focused on textiles of Latin America. Elena is an arts administrator with experience in public programming and curatorial research at nonprofits, artist residencies, museums and galleries internationally including the 150 year-old Manhattan institution La Nacional, the Reina Sofía Museum and Galería Cayón in Madrid, and the Creative Centre of Stodvarfjordur in Iceland. She graduated at the top of her class with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca (Spain) and the Kunsthochschule of Kassel (Germany). She earned her MA in art education from A Coruña University (Spain). She has a keen interest in exploring the relationship between education, research and cultural exchange in the museum context.
