Chairat Polmuk

Chairat Polmuk is a lecturer at the Department of Thai, Chulalongkorn University, where he teaches Southeast Asian languages and literature, cultural theory, and media studies. He received a PhD in Asian Literature, Religion, and Culture from Cornell University. His research focuses on affective and intermedial aspects of post-Cold War literature and visual culture, especially in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. He is a member of the editorial collective of Southeast of Now: Directions in Contemporary and Modern Art in Asia.
