Xu Min is an artist and [Chen Zhen’s](http://post.at.moma.org/profiles/1154-chen-zhen) partner. She graduated from the Jade Sculpture Department of Shanghai School of Arts and Crafts and studied Chinese Painting and Folk Graphic Design at Nanjing Art Academy before becoming a teacher at Shanghai School of Arts and Crafts. She moved to Paris in 1989 and since then has supported Chen Zhen’s art career. After Chen Zhen’s death in 2000, she became the main conservator and guardian of his art legacy. She established the Association des amis de Chen Zhen (ADAC) in 2002 and continues to organize exhibitions of Chen Zhen’s work. In 2003 she and David Rosenberg edited Chen Zhen: Invocation of Washing Fire (Gli Ori, 2003), with support from ADAC and Galleria Continua. She is currently in the process of completing the second and final volume of Chen Zhen: Catalogue Raisonné (Skira, 2014 and 2016). As of May 2015.
