Nelson Brissac

Nelson Brissac is a philosopher, working on questions concerning art and urbanism. He has a PHD in philosophy at Université de Paris I – Sorbonne and teaches at PUC in São Paulo, Brasil. He is the organizer and curator of Arte/Cidade, a project of urban interventions in São Paulo, since 1994. Some of his books: Arte/Cidade – Intervenções Urbanas, Senac, 2002; Arte/Cidade Zona Leste, Dardo, Spain, 2010; Paisagens Críticas – Robert Smithson: arte, ciência e indústria, Senac / Educ, 2010. He is now working in ZL Vórtice, a territorial research project on the east zone of São Paulo.
