Ilya Budraitskis is a historian and curator based in Moscow, Russia. He is on the editorial boards of several print and online publications, including _Moscow Art Magazine_, _Otkrytaya levaya_ and _LeftEast_. In the past, he worked as the Scientific Assistant and Curator at the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia. From 2013 to 2015, he was Chief of the Multimedia Library at the National Center for Contemporary Art (NCCA) in Moscow. With Ekaterina Degot and Marta Dziewanska, Budraitskis co-edited and authored the book _Post-Post-Soviet?: Art, Politics and Society in Russia at the Turn of the Decade_ (University of Chicago Press, 2013). He also was the co-editor and author with Arseniy Zhilyaev of the book _Pedagogical Poem_ (Marsilio, 2014).
