Dr. Finbarr Barry Flood is the William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of the Humanities, Institute of Fine Arts and College of Arts and Sciences, at New York University and has published extensively on art and architecture of the Islamic world and the cross-cultural dimensions of Islamic material culture.
