David Smith

David Smith is Head of Digital, Asia Art Archive (AAA), Hong Kong, and is currently leading AAA’s digital revamp. With an MA in film archiving from University of East Anglia, he has worked in the audiovisual and cultural heritage sectors for 15 years. Smith has previous experience at Europeana, a metadata aggregator that shares and promotes open access to cultural collections, and at national heritage institutions including the Imperial War Museum, London, and Archives New Zealand, where he managed the government’s audiovisual collection.
