Cid Campos

Cid Campos was born in São Paulo, in 1958. Composer and musical producer in the area of poetry he has recorded, among others, the CDs Ouvindo Oswald (about the brazilian poet Oswald de Andrade), The Overexcited body, Noigandres and Poetry is Risk, whith Augusto de Campos, wich generated an multimidia show, presented in several cities in Brazil and abroad. He also participated in multimidia shows such as Ouver (with Haroldo de Campos, Décio Pignatari, Augusto de Campos and Arnaldo Antunes). He worked along with many composers and singers – among which are Adriana Calcanhotto, Arnaldo Antunes and Tom Zé. Other CDs: No Lago do Olho (2001), Fala da Palavra (2004), Crianças Crionças (2008), Poesia é Risco (2011). Since 1992 has a digital recording studio (MC2 STUDIO) where, through the technology of computers, synthesizers and also acoustic instruments, has been performing his work especially in the area of musical experimentation, linked to poetry, video, dance and film.
